ESPERO 100 is a device equipped with an innovative photocatalytic filter.
ESPERO 100 using the natural process of photocatalysis, absorbs and converts light energy into free radicals. Radicals destroy SARS-CoV-2, viruses, bacteria, allergens, fungi, molds, aerosols, VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), odors, PM2.5 and PM10. The process of elimination and inactivation of viruses and bacteria is accelerated up to 20 times by the network of copper nanoparticles (CuNC), a unique and distinctive prerogative of the photocatalytic filter.
The device requires no spare parts and uses no biocidal chemicals or potentially harmful light sources. The air leaving the devices is free of Ozone, (Ozone Free) and/or other active substances such as ROS (peroxide, radicals, ions).
Efficacy tested against SARS-CoV-2
The effectiveness of the photocatalytic filter was tested against SARS-CoV-2 by the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, Italy. Within 10 minutes, the viral load deactivates by 98.2%, until it is completely zeroed in 30 minutes.
It can therefore be used in total safety in the presence of people in accordance with ISS COVID-19 report No. 25/20 and subsequent ISS COVID-19 update No. 12/2021 ver. May 20, 2021.
